The weekly report

What actually moved the portfolio, after each week of Canadian trading.

Friday, September 11, 2026−0.93%

Canada dug the hole and Innovation, for once, wasn't the problem

A four-session week with nothing green anywhere on the sheet, and we still came out ahead of seven of the eight all-in-one funds. Friday did most of the repair work.

Friday, September 4, 2026+0.06%

Emerging Markets Saved the Week

A week that finished basically where it started, after two losing sessions and three green ones that quietly undid them. Underneath, emerging markets did the heavy lifting, while the U.S. value and momentum pulled in opposite directions.

Friday, August 28, 2026−0.24%

The two Innovation ETFs went opposite ways

Every one of the all-in-one funds finished the week green and we didn't. FINN had one of the best runs on the sheet and it still couldn't cover what ORBX took out.

Friday, August 21, 2026−1.80%

Space was the black hole again, only Canadian momentum escaped

Friday put a little back after three straight losing sessions, and it wasn't nearly enough. We finished behind seven of the eight all-in-one funds.

Friday, August 14, 2026−0.23%

The two momentum funds were most of the green, and ZSP was most of the red

Innovation had the worst sleeve return of the four and still wasn't the biggest hole, since it's the smallest slice we hold. We finished ahead of six of the eight all-in-one funds anyway.

Thursday, August 13, 2026+0.20%

The U.S. sleeve did almost all of it, and space was the black hole

ZSP by itself accounted for roughly half the day. ORBX fell far enough to cancel out what our global innovators fund put in, which left Innovation doing nothing at all.

Wednesday, August 12, 2026+0.72%

Nothing red today, Innovation has best return

ORBX ran hard again and still only edged out FCMO on contribution. Momentum took the U.S. and International, Canada went the other way by almost nothing.

Tuesday, August 11, 2026−0.24%

Value came second in all three regions and the U.S. pair was the widest

U.S. Value trailed the U.S. momentum fund by more than any other pair on the sheet. Two of our Canadian holdings didn't move at all, which does happen, just not often.

Monday, August 10, 2026−0.08%

Three sleeves finished green and International still decided the day

ZEA and FCIM between them took out more than the U.S. and Canada put in. The Canadian sleeve had the best return of the four on half the U.S. weight.

Friday, August 7, 2026+0.59%

Fourteen green, one red, and space did more than our largest holding

ORBX alone was worth more than the entire U.S. sleeve's contribution. CIF was the only holding that finished lower, and it was the one thing holding Innovation back.

Thursday, August 6, 2026−0.18%

Emerging markets took the most out of REQT, space put a bit back

Thirteen of the fifteen holdings fell and the two that didn't both sit in the Innovation sleeve. The factor split went one way in the U.S. and Canada and the other way internationally.

Wednesday, August 5, 2026−0.38%

Momentum strong in all three regions, with Canada the only green sleeve

The widest split was International, where the momentum fund finished green and the value fund didn't. ORBX and CIF pulled the Innovation sleeve down harder than anything else.

Tuesday, August 4, 2026+2.85%

Green takes over, with space in first position

Fourteen of our fifteen holdings rose and none fell. ORBX moved further than anything else on the sheet, though its small size keeps that in perspective.

Friday, July 31, 2026+0.12%

Canada was the only sleeve in the red today

Seven of our fifteen ETFs rose and eight fell, but the two biggest Canadian holdings were heavy enough to hold REQT close to unchanged.

Thursday, July 30, 2026+1.91%

REQT finishes ahead of every all-in-one ETFs

All underlying ETFs in the green, with the U.S. momentum fund and emerging markets doing the most work.
